I like the way the vibrations of being front row at a concert feel in my chest. And how bodies of strangers feel pressed against mine as we move to a rhythm we all have in common. But most of all I love the way music makes me feel when I’m alone with it, just me and the songs spending time getting to know each other. I love to sing words that others wrote but I feel, and to dance to beats made to move mountains and connect continents. This music, this outlet, is something nothing can replace. Music is love. Music is life.
